Renaud Denis - Software Architect and Technical Leader
Renaud Denis

I'm a software architect and founder based in Belgium. My professional life is driven by two complementary passions: building my own products and helping other companies build theirs.

At Tylium, I'm building Cutoff, an ecosystem of audio software in Rust and Web that sits at the junction of my passions for technology and music. This work demands expertise in high-performance systems, real-time constraints, and cross-platform development.

I bring that same expertise to my freelance clients, applying the rigor and architectural thinking that guides my professional life to your most complex technical challenges.

As a Hands-on Architect, I design and deliver critical components: high-performance Rust systems, Java/Spring Boot microservices, and modern full-stack applications with Next.js and TypeScript.

As a Fractional CTO, I provide strategic leadership for startups and scale-ups. I've lived the entire lifecycle, joining EMAsphere as a Senior Architect when it was a small startup, and serving as its CTO through scale-up.

My foundation is 20+ years architecting enterprise software: modernizing legacy systems, designing multi-tenant SaaS platforms, building financial forecasting engines, and leading technical transformations.

If you're looking for an architect who combines a founder's perspective with deep, hands-on technical skill, we should talk.
